Flintlamp ERP · Filament inventory

Every spool, what is left on it, and where the material went.

Know what is left before a colour runs out. Flintlamp ERP keeps a record for every spool, deducts the grams as you record prints, and highlights the colours below your minimum.

The problem

A shelf of half-used spools, a colour that runs out in the middle of a batch, and no idea whether the filament you bought last month is in prints, on the shelf or in the bin.

What Flintlamp ERP does

One record per spool.Available now

Material, colour, brand, lot and purchase price. Add a new spool as full. For an opened spool, choose a rough amount or mark the remaining amount unknown.

Stock updates with each recorded print.Available now

Record a finished print and its filament is deducted from the spool you select. Bambu Lab print history supplies usage by colour to help you match the spools.

Measured, estimated or unknown — clearly marked.Available now

A weighed spool shows its measured remaining amount. A rough guess is marked estimated; an unknown amount stays marked unknown until you update it.

Colours running low and reorder points.Available now

Set a minimum per material and colour; Home shows what to buy before the queue runs dry.

A QR label for every spool.Available now

Print a label; scanning it opens the spool in Flintlamp.

Spools from your spreadsheet.Available now

Bring in the spools you have today as opening stock, with what you paid, and check the totals to the gram.

From spool to finished print

  1. Shelf

Three spools of white PLA are on the shelf, worth $80.00 together at what you paid.

  2. Print

The site model uses 65 g from one spool. Recording the print deducts those 65 g; its filament cost is $1.30, at that spool’s purchase price.

  3. Stock

The ring on Stock shows the remaining filament. When the amount for a colour falls below your minimum, Home marks it as running low.

  4. Reorder

You order before the next batch, not after it stops.

Illustrative example. Amounts in USD

  • Do I have to weigh spools?

No. Weighing is optional. Grams per print are enough for most shops; weigh a spool whenever you want the exact amount.

  • What if I opened a spool before Flintlamp?

Add it as an opened spool. Choose a rough remaining amount — full, half or low — or select Not sure. Estimated and unknown amounts are marked separately.

  • Does it work with my Bambu AMS?

Bambu Lab print history provides filament usage by colour and slot. Choose the spool for each colour when recording the print; you can change it afterwards.
