Flintlamp

Flintlamp · From spreadsheets

Bring your spreadsheets with you.

The spreadsheet did its job. As the shop grows it stops showing what a job really costs, which spool is nearly empty and what still waits for an answer. Bring the records you already have into Flintlamp — the file stays yours.

From a file to your first order.

Three steps, and no evening of typing.

  1. Open your file.

Customers, products, the spools on the shelf and the orders still open. One spreadsheet is enough.

  2. Import it and let us check it.

Every row is read before anything is saved: new, already in Flintlamp, or a row that needs a fix — with the reason in plain words.

  3. Read the check sheet.

What the file said, what Flintlamp now holds and what was left out: counts, grams to 0.1 g, money to the last unit.

What comes in.

Customers and products.

Your list, your prices, your names for things.

Spools as opening stock.

New or opened, grams left and what you paid — per spool or per kilogram.

Orders that are still open.

The jobs you have not finished, with their items.

Headings in your language.

Column names in English, Russian or Arabic, or your own: Flintlamp reads them and remembers them.

The same file twice adds nothing.

Import it again and nothing is duplicated.

Take it back for seven days.

Undo the import while the records are untouched.

Opening stock is not a purchase.

Spools and open orders come in without creating a purchase, a sale or a payment. Your first month starts from what you really have, not from an invented history.

And when you want to leave.

Export every record type as a spreadsheet, save your quotes and invoices as PDFs, and take a full copy in Flintlamp ERP. The records are yours; that is the point of a business tool.

  • Do I have to type everything again?

No. Customers, products, spools and open orders come in from one spreadsheet.

  • What if my columns have odd names?

That is normal. Flintlamp picks out the columns and remembers what you called them for next time.

  • Can I undo an import?

Yes — within seven days, while the imported records have not been used or changed.
